Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a part-time RN for AM shifts, including weekend mornings, in Birmingham, Alabama. The nurse will use the nursing process to care for patients, promote health, and prevent illness in collaboration with physicians and the care team.

Candidates must hold or be eligible for an Alabama RN license, with BLS required and ACLS/PALS possible depending on unit. The role offers educational support, PTO, and PSLF eligibility as part of the benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as an RN by the Alabama Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process to promote health and prevent illness.
• Delegate, coordinate and manage all aspects of nursing care in collaboration with the health care team and patients.
