Job summary

MountainView Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM, seeks a Night shift ICU RN to provide patient-centered care and coordinate with the healthcare team. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care per physician orders and clinical protocols.

The RN will administer medications, monitor patients, assist with procedures, and participate in life-support activities when needed, while upholding safety and infection-control standards.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care.
• Current RN licensure in state or compact state.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process from assessment to evaluation.
• Coordinate with physicians and staff to deliver high-quality care.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in life-support activities as needed.
• Document thoroughly in the medical record and maintain infection control practices.
