Job summary

Canyon Vista Medical Center is seeking an experienced RN to join the ICU on a nights schedule. You will deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced ICU, following nursing processes and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

The role requires an active AZ RN license, an associate degree in nursing, and BCLS, with ACLS/PALS and related certifications preferred. A sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 is offered for 2+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Active Arizona or Compact RN License.
• BCLS required.
• ACLS, PALS, HAZMAT and Handle with Care certifications are preferred.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in the ICU using nursing process.
• Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.
• Performs plan of care interventions and medication administration.
• Documents patient care and monitors patient condition.
• Collaborates with care team for transfers, discharges and referrals.
• Participates in education and performance improvement.
