Sentara Leigh Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on a third shift (nights) schedule. This full-time position offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus and a 36-hour work week, with opportunities for advanced transitioning into practice.

The ICU supports a multidisciplinary team and provides ongoing education and skill validation to ensure high-quality patient care. The RN must have a nursing degree/licensure, BLS within 90 days, and at least 1 year of emergency,

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing is required.
• BSN or MSN is preferred.
• BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Provide competent nursing care using the nursing process.
• Adhere to standards of practice and professional performance.
• Collaborate with ICU CNS and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing education for ICU practice.
