Job summary

Central Carolina Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking an experienced RN to join the ICU team on the night shift (7p–7a) with a 1:2 patient ratio and rotating weekends. Earn a $20,000 commitment bonus and provide high-quality care to critically ill patients.

As an ICU RN, you will perform assessments, initiate interventions, document care, and contribute to the interdisciplinary care plan while supporting a dynamic 8-bed unit.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina state or compact RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.
• Associate's degree in nursing is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs documentation related to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
