CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center (HPMC) is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse to join our night shift team at the acute care facility serving Hollywood and surrounding areas. The role requires applying the nursing process to plan, provide, and evaluate patient care with emphasis on safety and quality outcomes.

Required California RN license, BLS, ACLS, basic EKG, NIHSS, ARC within 30 days, and LA County Fire Card within 30 days. Prior ICU or acute care experience is preferred.

• American Heart Association ACLS
• Basic EKG
• NIHSS (Stroke)
• ARC ( Assault Response Competency ) required within 30 days of hire
• Los Angeles County Fire Card required within 30 days of hire

• Plan, coordinate and provide high-quality patient care using the nursing process.
• Identify age-specific care needs and monitor safety, skin integrity, behavior, motor skills and patient risk; communicate clearly.
• Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes and adjust nursing interventions as needed.
• Administer medications per protocol and document patient responses.
• Assess patients’ conditions and develop/update care plans.
• Monitor physiological and cognitive status and report changes to physicians.
• Document clearly, completely and timely with critical thinking in nursing process.
• Participate in quality and performance improvement programs
