Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse for a part-time night shift (24 hours per week) in Sparks, NV. The role provides professional leadership to the care team and ensures safe, patient-centered nursing care in line with hospital policies and the Patient Centered Care model.

The ideal candidate holds a Nevada nursing license, has at least one year of critical care experience, and possesses BLS certification; ACLS is required within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Current Nevada nursing license.
• At least one year of critical care nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification (or obtained within six months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Demonstrate professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Perform hourly rounds to strengthen nurse communication, safety, and patient comfort.
• Coordinate patient and family education regarding care plans and hospital processes.
