Job summary

Phoebe Putney Health System in Americus, Georgia, is seeking a dedicated registered nurse for the ICU to provide professional care for patients and families in partnership with a skilled care team.

The role requires an associate degree in nursing (bachelor’s preferred), a current Georgia RN license and BLS certification; responsibilities include adherence to standards, care planning, documentation, and collaboration across disciplines during 7P-7A shifts. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• 2 year / Associate Degree in Nursing from a state accredited school (Required)
• 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
• 1+ years Nursing Experience (Preferred)
• Certifications/Licensures: Basic Life Support (BLS) Registered Nurse (RN) with current Georgia license

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for patient(s) and respective family according to established standards and practices.
• Document nursing actions and patient responses in a timely manner.
• Develop an individualized plan with strategies that address diagnoses and ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to make referrals and utilize community resources as appropriate.
• Promote confidentiality, patient safety, and professionalism in all interactions.
