Job summary

Aurora Medical Center – Summit is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for the ICU, guiding patient care on a 36-hour weekly schedule. You will work the night shift (7 p.m.

– 7 a.m.) with a weekend rotation, joining a 14-bed unit supported by a skilled team of RNs, CNAs, and HUCs in an environment focused on trauma, cardiac, neurological, and surgical patients. Ideal candidates will have completed an accredited nursing program, hold a valid RN license, and maintain BLS; ACLS within 6 months

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or within 6 months of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certificate or within 6 months of hire.
• CRRN preferred (optional).

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with standards and procedures.
• Lead clinical decision making and communicate effectively with the team.
