Job summary

Aurora Medical Center-Summit ICU is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a 14-bed unit caring for trauma, surgical, cardiac, and neurological patients. The role requires an accredited nursing program, current RN license, and BLS certification, with ACLS/NIHSS as noted.night shifts 7p-7a, weekends every third weekend, and holidays apply.

Experience in critical care is highly preferred, and CCRN certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• RN license issued by the state where the teammate practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• ACLS or within 6 months of hire.
• NIHSS certificate or within 6 months of hire.
• CCR N preferred (optional).

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care following established standards, policies, and procedures.
