Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU at the Waxahachie, TX campus. This full-time night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) role supports a high-acuity 18-bed unit with 1:2 patient ratios and a collaborative care model.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of critical care experience, an active RN license, and BLS certification. Benefits, professional development, and a strong team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of start.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough clinical assessments and develop care plans.
• Educate patients and families; document learning needs.
• Delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based care in a high-acuity ICU setting.
