Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Fort Worth, TX is hiring a Registered Nurse for the ICU on the night shift (7pm–7am). You will oversee patient care, perform assessments, and develop care plans in collaboration with the care team.

Responsibilities include documenting patient responses, educating families, and ensuring safety and quality of care in a fast-paced ICU setting. Texas nursing practice act compliance is expected.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• 1 year ICU experience preferred.
• RN license required.
• BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care using a professional practice model.
• Perform patient assessments, recognize health issues, create and adjust care plans.
• Educate patients and families, document learning needs and outcomes.
• Delegate tasks according to patient condition and team competencies.
• Ensure safety, effectiveness, and quality in care planning and delivery.
