RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ. This full-time night shift role offers growth within a large health system that emphasizes teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates hold an active NJ RN license, BLS, and have ICU experience; CCRN and BSN are preferred. The position requires 37.5 hours/week with some weekend and rotating holiday commitments.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification required; CCRN and BSN preferred.
• Experience in ICU and EPIC EMR familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize subtle clinical changes, intervening early.
• Administer medications and treatments safely with strong clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers for timely care decisions.
• Educate patients and families clearly to support next steps in care.
• Document accurately in the EMR to promote continuity and safety.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to ensure coordinated care.
