Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health's Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch is seeking an experienced RN for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This night-shift, hourly role offers strong teamwork, safety culture, and opportunities to advance clinical skills in a 12-bed critical care unit providing advanced therapies.

As an ICU RN, you will conduct comprehensive assessments, administer medications, collaborate with physicians, educate patients and families, and document in EPIC.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Provide safe, evidence-based medications, treatments and hands-on care.
• Serve as clinical partner to physicians and advanced providers.
• Educate patients and families clearly and compassionately.
• Ensure accurate documentation in the EMR (EPIC).
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and coordinate care transitions.
• Collaborate in a highly collaborative team with shared accountability.
• Pursue ongoing professional growth and clinical ladder opportunities.
