Boston Medical Center (BMC) invites you to join our Magnet-recognized organization as a Registered Nurse in the MICU. You will deliver patient-centered care in a high-acuity Critical Care unit, supported by a mission-driven team focused on equity and excellence.

The role offers a 36-hour weekly schedule with nights and every-other-weekend commitments. Ideal candidates have an active MA RN license (or the ability to obtain one), with 1+ year RN experience and BLS; ACLS is required for certain

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license or ability to obtain one.
• 1+ year RN experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required in certain units.
• Nursing degree (Diploma/ASN/BSN) preferred; BSN encouraged to obtain within 4 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in the Critical Care unit:** assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, evaluate, educate patients.
• Communicate with the health care team, patients, and families.
• Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues.
• Update and manage patient records.
• Enter and interpret computerized data/information.
