Job summary

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The unit is a 24-bed general ICU with strong support from educators and leadership, and a $20,000 sign-on bonus for this full-time night-shift role.

The RN will apply the nursing process to deliver high-quality care, require an active RN license and BLS within 90 days, and ICU experience is strongly preferred. BSN is preferred for advancement and Magnet journey involvement.

Qualifications

• 1+ year RN experience required; ICU experience preferred.
• Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing is required.
• Current RN license and BLS required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care, teach health promotion, ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
