Job summary

Dupont Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU on a PRN basis. The RN will provide patient-centered care in a critical care setting, coordinate care with physicians and nurses, and participate in emergencies as part of the code team.

Minimum of 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience is required, with RN licensure and BCLS certification. ACLS/PALS are preferred. Schedule requires nights 7p-7a with a minimum 36 hours in a 6 week period.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years clinical nursing experience required.
• RN licensure and BCLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care per policies and nursing process.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop care plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in CPR/code team.
• Document patient care thoroughly in the medical record.
