Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Sunnyvale in Texas is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse to provide direct, developmentally appropriate care in the Intensive Care Unit. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and patient/family needs are met.

Key responsibilities include leading care plans, coordinating with the team, documenting encounters accurately, and adhering to safety and infection prevention standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Texas RN license.
• Two or more years of recent critical care experience.
• Current AHA BLS Certification.
• Current AHA ACLS Certification.
• CCRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in ICU using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with health care professionals to plan and implement care.
• Oversee patient care and coordinate care plans with the team.
• Accurately document patient encounters and protect health information.
• Adhere to infection prevention initiatives and evidence-based practice.
• Deliver competent, patient-centered care with focus on safety and rights.
