Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Sunnyvale is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse to independently perform direct patient care in our Intensive Care Unit. You will utilize the nursing process in delivering developmentally appropriate care and collaborate with health care professionals to meet patient and family needs.

Responsibilities include leading care planning, documenting encounters, ensuring safety and infection control, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Requires graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Texas RN license.
• Two or more years of recent critical care experience.
• Current AHA BLS Certification.
• Current AHA ACLS Certification.
• CCRN preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in ICU using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with other health care professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Delegate and coordinate patient care using nursing skills and guidelines.
• Educate patients, families, and team members.
