Carson Tahoe Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit. The role is part-time with a variable shift in Carson City, NV. The RN will deliver patient-centered care under supervision, applying nursing processes from assessment through evaluation.

The position requires Nevada RN licensure, BLS and ACLS within six months, NIHSS within six months, and CPI within six months. A BSN is preferred and ICU experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Active Nevada RN licensure or Interim Permit.
• BLS for healthcare providers.
• ACLS within six months of hire.
• NIHSS within six months of hire.
• Non-violent crisis intervention within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Carson Tahoe Health policies, procedures and unit standards of care.
• Attends 75% of scheduled staff meetings and 100% of required education within deadlines.
• Maintains required licenses and certifications on the provided platform.
• Ensures competencies reflect current skill level and seeks learning opportunities.
• Identifies changes in patient presentation and communicates with the care team.
• Performs bedside handovers per organizational standards.
