Job summary

Advocate Health’s ICU in Kenosha is seeking an organized RN to provide high-acuity patient care in a 12-bed unit, collaborating with intensivists and support staff to deliver safe, evidence-based care.

Requirements include nursing program completion, an in-state RN license, and BLS certification; ACLS/PALS within 6 months of hire. Prior ICU experience is helpful but not required, with strong teamwork and communication encouraged.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
