Aurora Medical Center – Kenosha is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our 12-bed Critical Care Unit, delivering specialty care across neuro, cardiac, medical, and surgical cases. The role emphasizes critical thinking, collaboration with intensivists, and 24/7 virtual support to meet rapidly changing patient needs.

Ideal candidates have completed an accredited nursing program, hold an RN license in the state, and will obtain BLS and ACLS/PALS within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by American Heart Association within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
