Job summary

PAM Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join a busy nursing unit. The RN will deliver, direct and supervise patient care, coordinate interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and family teaching for post-hospitalization, while ensuring quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include collaboration with the nursing leadership and other professionals; ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses, BLS required, and compact licensure accepted where applicable.

Qualifications

• Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) delivers, directs and supervises care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
• Plans, coordinates, and provides patient care including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching, and community resource access.
• May perform duties as Charge Nurse; ACLS certification required.
