Job summary

Ottumwa Regional Health Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU to provide direct patient care using the nursing process. The role supports a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment with a 3x12 hour day shift schedule.

Minimum requirements include an active RN license in Iowa or a compact state and BLS certification. Preferred credentials include ACLS and PALS. A $15,000 commitment bonus applies for two years of service.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with an active RN license (IA or Compact State).
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ICU patient care using the nursing process.
• Administer medications and monitor patient conditions.
• Document care and communicate with care team, patient, and family.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient safety.
• Coordinate transfers, discharges, and referrals as needed.
• Participate in education for patients and families.
