Job summary

Ottumwa Regional Health Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Acute Rehab Unit, working full-time nights (3-12 hour shifts). A $15,000 commitment bonus is offered for a 2-year commitment.

The RN will provide comprehensive rehab-focused care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support patient education and discharge planning. Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited RN program and possess an Iowa RN license (or from a Compact State) with current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license in Iowa or a Compact State.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for rehab unit patients.
• Coordinate delivery of patient care across shifts and disciplines.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Document care and monitor patient condition and progress.
• Educate patients and families and advocate for patient well-being.
