Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time 30-bed ICU unit. The role runs 7am–7pm with every third weekend and rotating holidays, offering a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to provide high-quality critical care.

The ideal candidate holds a current IL RN license; BSN is preferred, ADN acceptable with BSN enrollment within four years. CPR (AHA) certification and ability to lift up to 35 pounds are required for patient care and

Qualifications

• Current IL RN license is required.
• BSN preferred; ADN acceptable with agreement to enroll in BSN completion within four years.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and different shifts as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and use patient handling equipment for heavier lifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate patient-centered care in the ICU.
• Deliver care using assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Support smooth patient transitions to home or other care settings.
