Job summary

Rutherford Regional Health System, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our ICU team. You’ll provide compassionate, high-quality critical care and work with an experienced interdisciplinary group to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements include an NC RN license, 1–2 years ICU experience, and an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s Degree preferred). You’ll manage ventilators, drips, and patient education with families.

Qualifications

• Current NC RN license to practice
• 1–2 years ICU experience preferred
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration and clinical treatments
• Documents patient care given
• Monitors and communicates patient condition to care team and family
• Assists patients with activities of daily living
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate care and transfers
• Evaluates learning needs and provides patient and family education
