Job summary

Qualifications

• Current NC RN license (state or compact).
• 1–2 years ICU experience required.
• ASN in Nursing required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer meds, collect specimens, and provide ICU care per plan.
• Document patient care accurately.
• Monitor and communicate patient status to care team and family.
• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Collaborate across disciplines for transfers, discharge, referrals.
• Educate patient/family per age/culture/condition.
• Advocate for patient wellbeing.
• Float to other units to maintain nurse-patient ratios.
• Manage ventilators and critical drips in ICU.
• Pass rhythm recognition test within 90 days.
• Non-Essential Functions.
