CommonSpirit Health’s St. Luke's Health – Memorial Lufkin in East Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Float/Flex Team. You will deliver compassionate, high-quality care across units and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support recovery and outcomes.

The role requires an ADN/ASN, RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS within specified timeframes. You will perform assessments, administer treatments, educate patients and families, and uphold safety and quality standards in a

Qualifications

ADN/ASN in Nursing required or equivalent
RN licensure to practice in Texas
BLS (CPR) within 14 days of start date
ACLS within 6 months of start date

Responsibilities

Utilizes the nursing process to provide cost effective, quality patient care and collects relevant social, psychological, and health data.
Performs ongoing assessment, formulates nursing diagnoses and goals, plans interventions and evaluates outcomes.
Documents in patient and unit records per professional and hospital standards.
Provides patient and family teaching on Pain management, Nutrition, Skin integrity, Fall prevention, Diabetes, Smoking cessation and discharge instructions.
Demonstrates commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, ethical decision-making and care quality.
Engages in research activities and collaborates with Outcomes managers and department for evidence-based practice.
