Job summary

Bon Secours is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU at St. Mary’s Richmond. The role delivers intensive nursing care, assesses patients, develops care plans and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced critical care unit.

The position requires current RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable, and a minimum of 1 year RN experience (6 months in CCU/ED preferred). Schedule is 36 hours weekly with Day/Night shifts, and a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 applies.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications relevant; ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of RN experience required; 6 months RN experience in a Med/Surg, Critical Care, Stepdown, or Emergency Department Unit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment and develop a plan of care.
• Implement treatment and evaluate effectiveness with evidence-based practice.
• Synthesize information and prioritize actions during rapidly changing patient conditions.
• Administer medications safely per state practice and policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
