Job summary

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU at Wilkes Medical Center in North Wilkesboro, NC. Night shift 7pm–7am, full-time (36 hours/week).

Requires at least 1 year of RN experience and ACLS within 1 year; BLS certification; valid RN license in state of practice. In this role you will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care, using evidence-based practice and strong communication to ensure safety and exceptional patient experience across the care

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an active license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience; critical care experience strongly preferred.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers required.
• ACLS must be obtained within 12 months of hire for Adult Critical Care.
• Completion of an accredited program in nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead with evidence-based practice and clinical decision making to create a safe patient environment and positive patient experience.
