Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Willard, OH seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for ICU (Critical Care). The role focuses on assessing patient status, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality critical care.

You will ensure a safe, therapeutic environment while adapting to rapidly changing patient conditions and providing evidence‑based interventions.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience required.
• 6 months RN experience in Med/Surg, Critical Care, Stepdown, or Emergency Department Unit preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred (not required).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS Basic Life Support or ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred at hire; ACLS required within 6 months of hire; PALS preferred at hire, required in lieu of BLS/ACLS for Pediatric Units.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conducts and analyzes initial and ongoing patient assessment, creates a plan of care, implements treatment, and evaluates treatment effectiveness.
• Synthesizes and prioritizes information to take immediate, evidence‑based, patient‑focused action using clinical judgement.
• Anticipates and responds to rapidly changing patient conditions with confidence.
• Administer medications safely per state practice and organizational policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
