Job summary

Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital seeks a skilled Clinical Staff Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the Critical Care unit.

The role reports to the Clinical Unit Supervisor and carries 12-hour accountability for planning, directing, and coordinating care using the Watson Model of Care. The ideal candidate holds an Associate Degree in Nursing or higher (BSN preferred) and has at least one year of CCU experience with current California RN licensure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience in Critical Care.
• California Nursing license is required.
• Certification in Critical Care Nursing preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide 12-hour patient-centered care using nursing process and evidence-based practice.
• Perform accurate nursing assessments and modify care plans as needed.
• Document care in the IPOC and communicate changes to the care team.
• Collaborate with Care Managers for discharge planning and coordination.
