Qualifications

• Associate, Diploma, Bachelor's degree or Master's in Nursing.
• Current Illinois Registered Nurse license.
• Current CPR/BLS Card.

Responsibilities

• Assess and provide professional nursing care to SIH patients.
• Establish a compassionate environment to support patients and families.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care with the care team.
• Provide health teaching and counseling to promote optimal health.
• Document accurately in the patient medical record and report changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with the health care team to support patient safety and quality of care.
• Supervise and delegate to licensed practical nurses and unlicensed staff as needed.
• Float to other SIH nursing units within competency.
