Job summary

RN - ICU in Gretna, LA is seeking an experienced nurse for 12-hour night shifts (3 days/week) in the Intensive/Critical Care unit. Requires 2 years ICU experience, current RN license, BLS and ACLS; CPI certification preferred. Onsite contract spanning 14 weeks with a weekly stipend and base pay components.

Education

• Required - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Preferred - Bachelor s degree in nursing.

Work Experience

• Required – 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.

Certifications

• Required - Current RN License in the state of practice
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification - 12 month blue card from Crisis Prevention Institute
• Preferred - Certification in clinical specialty area
