Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC in Kenner, LA is seeking an RN - ICU for a 13-week night shift contract in a high-acuity ICU. This onsite assignment starts 9/28/2026 and includes weekly stipends and base pay for 12-hour shifts.

Requirements include an active Louisiana RN license, BLS and ACLS, CPI certification, and 2 years ICU experience with EPIC documentation. A BSN is preferred. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to deliver safe, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
  • 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • ICU experience and EPIC documentation.
  • Current RN License in the state of practice
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification - 12 month blue card from Crisis Prevention Institute
  • Preferred certification in clinical specialty area

Job Duties

Duties performed routinely require exposure to blood, body fluid and tissue.

The incumbent works in a patient care area; works in an area where patients enter; works directly with patients; and/or works with specimens that could contain communicable diseases. The incumbent has an occupational risk for exposure to all communicable diseases.

Because the incumbent works within a healthcare setting, there may be occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the environment through receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated waste. The risk level of exposure may increase depending on the essential job duties of the role.
