Qualifications

• Ability to communicate well and think critically in complex patient cases.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessment and therapy assessment.
• Verifies orders and administers aerosolized medications, bronchial hygiene, and oxygen/medical gas therapy.
• Ventilator management, weaning, waveform interpretation, and airway management.
• Arterial blood gas sampling and analysis.
• Educates patients and mentors new staff, students and peers.
• Location-specific: supports invasive and non-invasive procedures and diagnostic testing.
