Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist; RRT credential preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS may be required within start date.
• Experience in critical or emergency care settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests and administer respiratory therapies per physician directives.
• Monitor ventilators and adjust settings; manage respiratory support devices.
• Conduct pulmonary function tests and ABG analysis to assess patient status.
• Assist in emergency/ICU care, CPR, and advanced airway management as needed.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment usage.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and equipment maintenance policies.
