Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
• NBRC-RRT and RCP certifications required on hire (or as stated).
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient education abilities.

Responsibilities

• Administers medication and manages ventilator therapy in complex patient care situations.
• Performs arterial blood gas sampling and analysis and provides patient education.
• Collaborates with the health care team to plan and deliver respiratory care.
• Performs invasive and non-invasive respiratory procedures as needed.
• Maintains patient safety and participates in staff education and development.
