Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy required; licensure as Respiratory Therapist mandatory upon hire.
• Active NBRC-RRT credential required; BLS and ACLS/PALS per policy; ACLS and PALSInstructor credentials or equivalents.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of healthcare databases; strong communication with care teams.

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory care in complex patient populations in CCU with protocol ventilator management.
• Performs airway management, including intubation/extubation and tracheostomy care as needed.
• Educates patients and families; participates in PI projects and supports staff development.
