Job summary

Advocate Health IL Resource Team seeks an experienced ICU RN to provide float coverage across multiple facilities. Self-scheduling with day-to-day floating or 6-week rotations, 12-hour night shifts, 7pm–7:30am. Requires 2+ years ICU RN experience, BLS and ACLS, and an accredited nursing program completion.

Base pay ranges $38.20–$57.30 hourly, with weekend and holiday responsibilities, and a multi-site support model across Zone 4 and Zone 5 facilities in Illinois.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program
• RN license issued by the state of practice
• BLS for Healthcare Providers and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years ICU RN experience
• Weekend requirement: 4 weekends per 6-week schedule; Holidays: 2 per year

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care aligned with standards, policies and procedures
• Float to multiple care environments within a designated Zone and collaborate with diverse teams
• Lead efforts that ensure a safe patient environment and optimal experience
• Coordinate care for diverse patient populations across acute-care, hospital outpatient, and clinic settings
• Maintain competency to practice in all acute-care facilities within the zone
