Job summary
Advocate Health is seeking a Resource Registered Nurse to support Zone 10 of Wake's Resource Team, floating to Baptist, Wilkes, Hugh Chatham & Alleghany facilities. This full-time role (36 hours/week) offers a competitive pay range and emphasizes evidence-based practice, safety, and collaboration across units.
Graduate nursing education with RN licensure and BLS are required, with 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
- Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where service is provided.
- BLS certification required; additional education or certifications may be needed by specialty.
Responsibilities
- Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
- Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patients and families.
- Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
- Upholds a culture of safety and participates in professional development and education.
- May administer medications and therapies according to protocols; maintain accurate EHR documentation.
