Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Resource Registered Nurse on Navicent's Resource Team. The role involves floating to Navicent, Baldwin, Peach and Rehab facilities, with a 36-hour work week and full-time status.

Responsibilities include nursing assessment, care planning, coordination with the care team, and maintaining patient safety and accurate documentation. The position requires an RN license with BLS; BSN preferred and 1 year of clinical nursing experience, with telehealth experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the relevant state(s).
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may apply.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and collaborate with the care team.
• Uphold a culture of safety and ensure accurate EHR documentation.
• May float to other units or facilities within the service area as needed.
• Maintain age-specific knowledge to provide appropriate patient care.
