Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Resource Float Pool RN to support ICU service lines. The role requires experience with critically ill patients and comfort floating between CVICU, SICU, and MICU environments.

You will collaborate within The Christ Hospital Professional Practice Model, perform holistic assessments, develop care plans, educate patients and families, and participate in leadership activities.

Qualifications

• RN must hold a current Ohio nursing license.
• BLS certification is required prior to patient contact.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months for step-down and ICU areas.
• BSN within five years if hired after January 2010; MSN/DNP not required but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform holistic assessments using the hospital model.
• Develop and coordinate care plans with patient and family.
• Communicate plan of care via SBAR and handoffs.
• Provide patient and family education and safety initiatives.
• Respond to emergencies with clinical judgment and coordination.
• Maintain documentation in the electronic medical record and pursue professional development.
