Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking an experienced Resource Float Pool RN to join our ICU services, providing flex coverage across CVICU, SICU, and MICU. You will adapt to different critical care environments while maintaining high-quality patient care.

Requirements include an Ohio RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and BSN within 5 years of hire for post-2010 hires; MSN/DNP is encouraged but not required. Join a collaborative, mission-driven team.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a current RN license in Ohio.
  • BLS certification required prior to patient contact.
  • ACLS certification within 6 months for ICU/step-down areas.
  • BSN within 5 years of hire for nurses hired after Jan 2010; MSN/DNP optional but supersede BSN.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in holistic patient assessment across ICU patients.
  • Collaborate with ICU team and other units during float.
  • Document nursing care in EMR accurately and timely.
  • Perform nursing actions per orders with accountability.
  • Provide patient and family education aligned with care plan.
  • Engage in leadership and professional development activities.

Education

BSN within 5 years of hire
AD or Diploma nurses accepted
