Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking an Resource Float Pool RN to support ICU service lines across multiple units. Ideal candidates have critical care experience and comfort floating between CVICU, SICU, and MICU environments.

The role may also support other areas based on patient care and staffing needs. RNs must meet Ohio licensure requirements, maintain BLS, and obtain ACLS within six months for ICU/step-down areas.

Qualifications

• RN with critical care experience preferred in ICU settings.
• BSN within 5 years of hire; AD or Diploma nurses considered.
• BLS required; ACLS within 6 months of hire in ICU/step-down areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform holistic nursing assessments across multiple ICU environments.
• Utilize SBAR for handoffs and communicate care plans to the team.
• Provide evidence-based nursing interventions and patient/family education.
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Demonstrate leadership, mentorship, and continuous professional development.
