WellSpan Waynesboro ICU is a 10-bed unit delivering critical care to adult and geriatric patients. The role involves serving as the primary nurse for assigned patients, coordinating care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

The position is part-time (48 hours biweekly) with Saturday and Sunday shifts from 6:45am to 7:15pm, and requires BLS and RN licensure. A sign-on bonus is eligible for this assignment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required at hire
• Nursing degree from an accredited program
• Commitment to patient- and family-centered care

Responsabilités

• Provide and coordinate direct patient care following the nursing process
• Act as primary nurse for assigned patients and coordinate with other disciplines
• Safely administer prescribed treatments and medications and document responses
• Prioritize tasks based on patient needs and workload while ensuring safe handoffs
• Document patient progress and outcomes and use the EMR/flow sheets effectively
• Support professional growth and participate in quality and safety initiatives
