Prime Healthcare Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for part-time night shifts (2-12 hour shifts, 7p-7:30a). The role requires an active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and CCU experience or certification preferences, with a sign-on bonus up to $5,000.

You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with physicians, and educate patients and families while maintaining patient privacy and high standards of care in the ICU.

Qualifikationen

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.

Aufgaben

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient’s condition.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.

Ausbildung
