Prime Healthcare St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee, IL seeks an experienced ICU/CCRN-eligible Registered Nurse for night shift. The role involves direct critical care with rapid response to changes in patient conditions, patient-family education, and collaboration with physicians to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualified candidates hold an active RN license, BLS, ACLS within 30 days of hire, and ideally CCU/ICU experience. Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
• CCRN Certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process in the ICU.
• Direct patient care within the scope of practice and supervise/guide patient/family teaching.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition and test results.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality and respond to changes in condition promptly.
