Qualifications

• Graduation from Registered Nurse Program; BSN preferred within 5 years.
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience in acute care; ortho/stroke preferred.
• Cardiac cath lab/IR/EP experience preferred for specific tracks.
• California RN license; BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist charge nurse in planning shift delivery of patient care.
• Precept and validate competency of new hires and procedures.
• Coordinate with units/departments to ensure safe, efficient care.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and post‑care.
